Nutritional Advice
Understanding your diet is essential to your overall wellbeing. Eating the right foods in the right amounts at the right times produces optimum nutritional health and keeps you more in tune with what agrees with your body and – most importantly – what does not. Eating the right foods not only facilitates weight loss and the maintenance of optimum weight, but can improve overall health, increase energy levels, alertness, effective brain and body function, improve skin and hair, ease pre-menstrual tension, and generally gives that feel-good factor.

The bad news – There’s no magic pill or miracle drug. 

The good news – Target can help with only two consultations.

Our nutritional advice is not about short-term aspirations, it’s about long-term solutions and improvements that will eliminate that yo-yo dieting effect.

At Target we take all your lifestyle factors into consideration, collate the information and design a person specific plan which is tailored to your needs.

What’s Involved?

Consultation 1

This is an opportunity for you to meet the nutritionist who will explain what’s involved and discuss what you aim to achieve.  At this point you will be given a food and activity diary to go away and complete.

Consultation 2

(Once your diary has been analysed). 

A review of your nutritional intake will include finding the right balance for you from the essential food groups as well as breaking down your diet into nutrient categories and calculating the percentages you are currently consuming. 
We identify the positive and negative aspects of your food intake, working together to establish a plan that is realistic and achievable.  Timing of meals, hunger and energy levels will be discussed along with any questions you may have.

At the end of the consultation you will receive a full report with recommendations, new objectives and daily allowances specifically for you.

Nutritional advice is not just for people eager to lose a few extra pounds, it’s important that everybody has a balanced diet and eats correctly, however fit and healthy they are.
